Votoms: Dazzling Funeral Procession Character and Mech Introductions

Character Intros:

Bojil Don Haliburton "Fillow"

A former soldier of the Gilgamesh Allied Forces, Bojil currently wanders from battlefield to battlefield as a freelance mercenary and Votoms pilot. "Fillow" is his nickname.

Vilje Yang Waulter "Whitey"

The youth who is a soldier of the Avolga Kingdom and is CO of the 3rd Guard Company. Vilje is the scion of a military family who has held important positions in the military for generations.

Clementine Christie

A singer who works exclusively for a casino bar (named DICKS BAR) in the Avolga Kingdom's capital city, Tranehole (pronounced tran eh hole). She takes to the stage every night with a triplet of songs about "Love" "One's Home Town" and "Fate".

Mech Intros:

P ・ ATH-Q01-DT "White Honor" (CO Unit)

CO unit of the Avolga Kingdom's Imperial Guard Battalion 3rd Guard Company, aka the "Shield of the Blue Sky". Currently piloted by "Whitey" or Imperial Army First Lieutenant Vilje Yang Waulter. It is a Quent made AT, but is of a different class than the "Berserga". The equipped pile bunker is capable of being removed and equipped onto the machine's exclusive long rifle.

ATM-09-DTC Blood Setter

The AT given to the mercenary "Fillow" or Bojil Don Haliburton along with the request to conduct application tests on its AT use universal equipment (I am assuming it means universal as in all terrain, but I could be wrong). Using the ATM-09-ST Scopedog as its base, it is customized to have improved augmentability in order to be able to conduct the equipment tests in all sorts of environments. "Blood Setter" is only the name given to it by its pilot, Fillow, and its official designation is the "ATM-09-DTC Scopedog Custom". In order to cope with the fluctuations in weight and unit balance caused by various equipment, the Blood Setter is fitted with a "Type 72" frame, which is famed for its rigidity, even among Scopedogs.

Youjo Senki News and New Announcement

Youjo Senki is taking a lot longer to actually translate than I first thought, esp since I've rather cooled off on it. That being said, it is still being done and also I have asked an unnamed editor to proofread things for quality, although that will make it take longer.

On the other side of things, I still want to put out something so I am starting to TL the new Votoms novel "Armored Trooper Votoms: Dazzling Funeral Procession!" I will be doing all the chapters as they come out on the website, which can be found here: Yatate Bunko Votoms

I will be starting work on this as soon as I can (at latest, monday) so look forward to a release before the end of the week! (probably by wednesday, as the chapter seems shortish)

Post 3: Lol more Youjo Senki news

Skythewood is stopping because youjo senki got picked up.

Everything on this site will be fanfiction from now on. Chapter 3 to come?

That being said, if someone could get me text raws so I don't have to peer at small print books I can churn these out like once a week instead of once every few months.

EDIT: Due to IRL circumstances I have been too busy to actually TL Youjo Senki. If all goes well I should be able to start early June. Thank you for your patience.

SkytheWood is apparently continuing Youjo Senki

SkytheWood apparently put youjo senki back on their release schedule so I'm taking that to mean they intend to keep translating. That means that I'm going to shelve my youjo senki translations for now.

That doesn't mean this site is shutting down tho. I am intending to pick up a web novel or two. Announcements to come later.

PS: I still have a half finished ch1 of volume 2. I might actually just finish that one anyway and put it out eventually.

Announcement: Youjo Senki vol 2.

Although Skythewood hasn't moved the project to their "done/dropped" section yet, the project page does say "Teaser project done" and they don't have a projected date of the next chapter, so I'm going to start a TL of this series from volume 2 on.

I don't have anyone helping me and although I'm a native english speaker and very experienced in japanese (I'm doing this to help smooth out my reading comprehension of more advanced kanji), I haven't participated in many translation projects (I used to TL for FTH scans) and I feel my useage of english can be a bit stiff in my TL's, so I'm going to try and improve that as well.

Being as how I don't have help and I have a life pls don't expect regular updates. as of the publishing of this post I've only just started to read through book 2 as they've just arrived. Also if the use of english in the translations isn't to your liking I'll apologize in advance. I'm not super eloquent or anything so it might come out a little stiff. Please be aware that I am trying to improve. Thanks.

Also: I cannot find raws of this book anywhere and not only do I not posess a scanner, I don't want to tear apart my copy of this book so there will be no LN pictures in my posts, just the translation.
